Your glow up starts here: 7 simple rituals

Your fall glow up doesn't have to mean becoming a completely different person.

Think of it as a reset, a chance to slow down, take better care of yourself and create little rituals that make you feel confident, put together and more like her.

Start small, stay consistent and let the little things add up.

01 create a morning ritual

Don't let your phone decide how your day starts. Open the curtains, make your bed, drink some water, brush your teeth and take a lovely shower

Give yourself a few quiet minutes before the world gets your attention.

02 find your signature hair

Fall is the perfect time to find your go-to hairstyle.

A slick bun, soft waves, a claw clip or your natural texture, find what makes you feel instantly put together and make it part of your everyday routine.

03 Dress for the day you want, not the day you're having

You don't need somewhere special to go.

On the days that feel the greyest, this is the one that works the fastest. Put on the good earrings, pants or dress for no reason at all.

04 find your signature scent

A scent can completely change how you feel.

Find something that feels like your fall, warm, clean, soft, spicy or completely unexpected and make it yours.

05 Keep a skincare routine you'll actually finish

Cleanse, moisturize, SPF. Three steps you'll do every day beat a ten-step routine you'll abandon by Thursday.

06 move your body

Not because you need to change it.

Because moving makes you feel good.

Go for a walk through the leaves, stretch in your room, take a class, dance while getting ready, whatever makes you feel connected to yourself.

07 have a weekly reset

Clean your space, change your sheets and do your everything shower. Wash your hair, take care of your skin and put on something fresh.

Then plan your outfits, check your week and make a little list of things you want to get done.

Finish with one thing to look forward to.

None of this needs to happen all at once. Pick one, keep it for a month, then add the next. That's the whole glow up, not a before and after, just a slightly kinder version of your own routine.
